December 11, 2024 - After years of dedication to fostering creativity among students, the Young Artist Club (YAC) at Cojuangco National Vocational High School (CNVHS) has been officially rebuilt under the leadership of Sister Vilma Vidaya, the Grand Master Artist. Originally established on March 29, 2019, the club was active for many years, serving as a hub for artistic growth and talent development among students.

The club, reestablished to continue its legacy, now consists of various divisions catering to multiple art forms and creative fields. The club leaders and members were formally announced during a relaunch event, highlighting both the students - enthusiasm and the administration's support for artistic endeavors.

Club Leadership

The leadership team includes Grand Artist Rainier Yebes, Deputy Grand Artist Freshiela Joijuico, Auxiliary Grand Artist Jashley Cabuang, and Grand Master Artist Sister Vilma Vidaya.

Club Divisions and Members

Theater Arts is led by Veronica Corpuz, with one member to be announced. The Literary Division includes Allyona Caadan, Joyce Carino, Hannah Abril, and Shekyna Casugay. The Painting Division is composed of Lanze Arceo, Sean Ubaldo, and Fhyean Facun. In Photography, Misha Calla leads, with another member to be announced. Music members include Leanne Manuel and Ella Lambino, while Animation features Hersey and Roman Sebastian. The Film and Video Division awaits further announcements for its members. Radio Arts is represented by Ornan Vidaya and one to be announced.

Mountaineering currently has two positions to be filled. Documentation is managed by Mariane Quijada. The Budget and Finance Division consists of Hamsa Ali and Paula Ramos.

Additional Divisions

The club also includes Community Service, Recreational and Membership Care, and Educational Affairs divisions.

Master Artists

The Master Artists team includes Cheska Ellaine Valdez, Katrina Agustin, Lance Serrano, Gian Carlo Bartolo, Jaireen Pacarat, and Erica Julia Organza.

Honorary Members

The honorary members are Nei Pagaduan, Malikha Macauyag, Haniya Ali, Zaijan Cabubos, Rica Lim, Sheamus Feliciano, and Lawrence Bautista.

Sister Vilma Vidaya, as the Grand Master Artist, emphasized the importance of nurturing artistic skills alongside academics. "This club is not just about creating art but also about building character, leadership, and a sense of community among students," she stated during the relaunch.

The Young Artist Club - revival brings renewed hope and excitement to CNVHS. Students are eager to showcase their talents through upcoming events and community projects. The club aims to create an inclusive environment where young artists can thrive, innovate, and inspire their peers.
